Who are we & what do we do?
TASH is a group of sheltered housing tenants who come together to:
-
Promote the interests of sheltered housing tenants and to assist in maintaining good relations between all members of the community
-
Promote all residents' rights and the maintenance and improvement of housing conditions, amenities and the environment
Membership & Officers
Membership is open to all Council Sheltered Housing Tenants.
The group offers two forms of membership.
-
Elected Representative for your scheme - representing the views and issues of fellow residents, with the opportunity to stand as an officer of the group and vote on important recommendations to the Council
-
Observer member - attend meetings on an individual basis with no voting rights or access to officer status, but fully able to take part in discussions/debates and give your views if you wish
Members elect officers for the group at their annual general meeting, which is usually held in June.
