Government announces no change to Supported Housing funding

The Government has announced that there will be no change to the funding of Supported Housing through housing benefit.

Ministers recognise that Supported Housing is a vital service for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, and last year consulted on possible alternative funding options.

Having listened to views from providers, stakeholders and councils, including Swindon Borough Council tenants, the government has decided that housing benefit will remain in place to fund this accommodation.
