Swindon Energy Matters
What would you do with £600?
Switching supplier could save you up to £600 per year, according to latest figures, with an average saving per home of £300. It only takes 10 minutes to compare and switch, and you could also get cashback of up to £30 for an on-line switch, or £22 for switching via the helpline.
As one of our valued tenants, we’d like to make you aware of the Council’s new energy switching service, Swindon Energy Matters, which provides free, impartial and no-obligation advice to help you check, switch and save on your gas and electricity tariffs. The service is for everyone, whether you have a credit or a pre-payment (Pay As You Go) meter.
How to switch
It couldn’t be easier. Simply go to www.swindon.gov.uk/swindonenergymatters or call 0800 093 3218 to speak to an Energy Advisor. Have a recent bill or statement handy, as well as checking in advance who supplies your gas and electricity, how much you pay, and how often, as this will help give a more detailed comparison.
If you are still not sure about using the comparison service, or think there will be barriers to you switching suppliers, you are welcome to contact our Warm and Safe Energy Advice Service for more general advice on 0117 934 1964 or email: email@example.com.
